Power Functions IR Speed Remote Control recalled from U.S. and Canadian Markets

LEGO Systems is working with the US Consumer Product Safety Commission to voluntarily recall the 8879 Power Functions IR Speed Remote Control which poses a thermal burn hazard to users if the batteries inside overheat. The remote control units were sold separately (item 8879) or sold in the Emerald Night Train kit (item K10194) and Power Functions kit (item K8882).

1,618 units of the remote control units were sold in the U.S. and Canada between April 8, 2009 and May 6, 2009. LEGO Systems has received 4 reports of the remote control heating up after batteries were inserted. No injuries have occurred.

These remotes were only sold directly to consumers through http://shop.lego.com or the LEGO Shop at Home catalog and were not sold at any retail outlets. All consumers who have purchased this item are being asked to immediately stop using the remote control unit and to check to see if their unit is part of the recall. Purchasers will be contacted directly by LEGO Systems with information on how to determine if their IR remote control unit is part of the recall and how to receive a replacement remote, or they can access this information here.

Episode 9 - remote controled cars build. The lost Episode. LOL, well here it is, the build of the RC car kit in a nutshell. I have the kids playing with it later on in the summer at a LEGO show we are go to be at in August. So it will be featured in a another video then.

The kiss characters are all hand painted, which I will talk about in a season 2 episode, titled custom minifig painting.

I have modified the concert since, As in the video posted episode number 006 2 parts.
I just can't wait, face gonna be painted like Gene, and wearing Kiss clothes as well, LOL.

Sorry no pics of Paul Mccartney Lego yet, He's playing the same stage tommorrow in Halifax.

DVD for Sale Finally !

Finally I have the DVD ready for sale on my store site page. All videos from the site and more that I won't be posting as well, that I only put on this DVD for $10.00 postage included, and a portion of the sale goes to help a child with a colostomy/ileostomy go to camp in Alberta, which costs about $1200.00/child per week. It is defintley worth the trek out there for the kids. It helps them out so much emotionally and spirtually. I support this camp 100%.

New Summer Season of the Butchers Videos

My new Summer season of videos starts today, as soon as I finish editing the Canada Day Video later today it will be up, just a few details. My wonderful wife "Shelley" God Bless her, gave me some creative ideas late last night to do to my videos so that I can get a "following" and get known out there in cyber video world. I am going to put these in motion starting today. Why wait till later? When Canada Day is a good place to start. I know Episode 9 is not up yet, because I'm waiting for it to stop raining to shoot a 20 sec segment for it, it will still be part of the old season (season one). Also I'm getting my video gear prepared. I'm trying out a new DIY camera stabilizer (stedicam), don't know what the results will be yet, an maybe a new mic down the road, we will see. The new Star wars sets are posted at LEGO shop at home, but the new Echo Base $29.99 Can or $24.99 Us, not much difference price wise on this set and it is on backorder for 30 days, so why the heck did they even post it for sale.
